I am truly sorry if this is not of interest to you,as I don’t mean to bother you, but I’m sure you have heard of “Ex-Gay” Ministries(such as Exodus International).

In short, they aim to “cure” homosexuality by prayer and/or “reparative therapy”. Often this leads to severe mental and emotional damage and it has been condemned by the American Psychological Association and the American Psychiatric Association.

This petition, addressed on a Federal level to the White House (as it has become more accepting of Petitions under the current administration), requires 10000+ signatures to carry weight that could gain the attention of legislators and, perhaps(however unlikely), the president of the United States).

In any case, it couldn’t hurt to try to seek justice on one of the most vile aspects of conservative religiosity. I am aware that you have quite few followers as well, if this petition could be published it would mean a great deal of help. But whatever you choose, any and all forms of assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
